Optimise

The thrill of the chase, the desire to achieve, and perceived competition often result in non-stop action as teams race against the clock in the Team Challenge.

Each team is given the same objective: Score as Many Points as You Can. However this event is not about winning, but rather about maximising opportunity! Typically teams choose to compete, with winning in mind. However co-operation can do more to maximise point-scoring opportunities for a collective 'win'.

Each team is given a map, the rules, and a list of point scoring opportunities at different locations. A treasure hunt with many chests! Teams earn Points by locating and completing tasks. The team is rewarded on completion of each task, according to their level of success, or not! Loss of points is also possible. The tasks are comprised of a diverse and bizarre range of problem solving activities, each requiring a fresh mental approach and solid team work processes.

This event is about each team working to do their best at strategic planning, problem solving, communicating, and collaborating. Positive competition equals a positive result for all, unless of course it has been all action without strategic planning and co-operation. How does your organisation function? And will that be reflected in the Team Challenge?
