Mission Possible
The Mission, should you choose to accept it, is to locate, retrieve and render inoperable, a shipment of missiles that have gone missing.
Your people become international special agents, on assignment. Mission Control provides some information, but it is up to the agents to retrieve the missiles.
Code breaking, approaching 'contacts', initiative and resourcefulness are required if the Mission is to be successful. This event has been designed to take conference delegates beyond the comfort zone.
Previous 'agents' have paddled across rivers, swum across creeks, waded through mangroves, hired taxis and bicycles, climbed walls, approached total strangers with bizarre requests, done deals under a bridge, penetrated a flying fox colony, and searched a cemetery in the dead of night.
As always, communication is the key, and agents may find themselves using mobile phones, internet sites, email or 'treemail' to gather and share information.
To render the missiles inoperable, they must be assembled and fired. Real model rockets are used. These accelerate up to 100 meters into the air to gasps of astonishment and cheers from the missile recovery teams.
